Your Second Visit to Our Whitefish Practice

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.  We recommend that you bring a family member or trusted friend with you to ask pertinent questions and help make this important decision.

At this point my job is:

  1. To tell you the truth about your condition and the choices that you have.
  2. To offer you the finest chiropractic care available

In order to achieve this we want to make sure that we answer five questions:

  • What is the status of your health?
  • Can we help you (is it still possible to turn my health around?)
  • What will we do to help you achieve your health goals?
  • How long will it take?
  • What will this cost?

Your job is:

  1. Choose what is best for you and how you would like to proceed.
Everything Will Be All Right

NUCCA AdjustmentOnce you’ve accepted care, you will receive your first spinal correction. The adjustment is painless with no popping or twisting of the spine. You will be lying on your side and will feel the slight pressure of the doctor’s hand behind your ear. It’s literally about the amount of force you could tolerate if you pressed on your eye.

The doctor will verify the correction with an examination and post x-rays (this happens after the initial adjustment only).

Each adjustment experience and healing response is unique to the individual. People describe feeling various sensations such as:  lighter, looser, clearer, more balanced, etc… One thing is common; the light touch of the adjustment will set your body in the direction for achieving optimum health.

Dr. Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Whitefish residents - Chiropractor Whitefish Dr. Chris Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
